On many occasions, ads cannot be placed due to problems with photos that are too large, the wrong
format or conflicts with your computer software/Internet provider. Many of the questions you'll
have are answered below. If we can answer your questions via this web page, this will keep the cost
for this service at a minimum. Please review the following before calling for help.
Q: I would like to remove my classified ad from the site before the 15 days I
paid for is up.
A: Click here to cancel your classified ad.
Q: I submitted a classified ad. Why don't I see it on the site?
A: We review and post ads twice daily during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am -
5pm, excluding national holidays). Please submit your ad only once.
Q: How will I remember when my ad expires?
A: You will receive an email notification asking you if you wish to re-post your ad. Ads are displayed for 15 days.
Q: How do I place my Classified ad?
A: Click on the 'place ad' button in the upper right. Choose a category, and enter your text in the spaces provided.
Q: What does it cost to place an ad?
A: Rate of $15 for 15 days --- Note: Introductory rate includes the free upload of a picture at no
charge.
Q: How do I write an ad that works?
A: There are a few things you can include to make your ad more effective. For one, start your ad
with the item. Be descriptive! And, always include an asking price, phone number and contact
information.
Q: How do I upload a photo with my ad?
A: If your picture approaches or exceeds the maximum 400 x 400 pixels, it will need to be compressed using photo manipulation software. Try using programs like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, ADCSee, Ulead PhotoImpact and a free program The GIMP.
Q: What if I don't want to give out my email address?
A: That's fine. Give just your phone number or a secondary e-mail address.
Q: I keep getting an error every time I submit a classified ad.
A: You may be using an old version of your internet browser that does not support the Classified ad code. Try updating your browser by visiting the website and downloading latest version.
